Microphones:
The Roger Touchscreen Mic 3 is a lightweight, lanyard-style microphone that’s easy to use and ideal for tour guides.  It’s discreet, unobtrusive, and works seamlessly with any setting.
For outdoor tours, the optional head-worn mic is especially effective – minimising wind and background noise to ensure clear communication for all visitors.
This microphone supports an unlimited number of Roger receivers and allows direct connection for users with compatible Sonova hearing instruments, removing the need for separate receivers entirely.

NeckLoop Receiver:
This receiver is a small, lightweight and easy to use unit that hangs around a visitor’s neck.  Volume can be changed at the touch of a button, with a clear screen displaying volume level.  Comfortable headphones are provided with this system, although visitors can opt to use their own 3.5mm headphones if preferred.

Support for All:
Our tour guide system is designed with inclusivity in mind – the ‘necklace’ part of the receiver is a hearing loop.  This means any guests who are hard of hearing can simply switch to the telecoil mode on their hearing aids and the tour guide’s voice will be sent directly to their hearing aids.

Convenience:
This user-friendly system sets up in minutes, with all components conveniently stored in a single case that charges everything from a single plug.

Flexibility:
The portable design enables use in any building, space or area. If tours are held in different locations, transportation is effortless as all equipment fits neatly into one case.  Both setup and pack-away time only takes a few minutes, allowing for transport and use in alternative locations.

Personalisation:
We offer personalised solutions specifically designed to address your unique requirements, complete with a clear, customised user manual and comprehensive product training.

Secure Wireless Connection:
All Roger units wirelessly connect via a 2.4GHz encrypted connection, maintaining confidentiality.  With adaptive automatic frequency hopping, the system seamlessly switches frequencies when needed to avoid interference.

Charging & Storage:
The Roger microphones and receivers are stored in a lightweight, durable aluminium charging case, allowing all units to charge from a single plug socket.

Customisation:
One of the standout features of the Phonak Roger range is its customisation capability, allowing it to accommodate varying numbers of participants and attendees.  The quantities listed serve as a starting point, you can adjust the quantity of each item to meet your specific requirements, ensuring optimal system performance.

Technical Support:
All systems include comprehensive on-site training and continued support for the future. One of our experienced technical engineers will deliver the kit and conduct an in-depth training session for staff members, ensuring a complete understanding of how the system operates to maximise its benefits.  Each bespoke system is accompanied by a tailor-made user guide for ease of use.  Our training package lasts for the lifespan of the product, so our support and assistance will be provided for many years to come.

Contact us to discuss your needs and we can create a bespoke system that suits your specific requirements.

FAQs

What is the warranty period?
All equipment includes a standard 2-year warranty, with the option to purchase an extended 5-year warranty.

Does this comply with the 2010 Equality Act?
All public buildings are required to comply with the 2010 Equality Act and provide reasonable adjustments for all disabilities, including hearing loss.  Traditionally, a fixed hearing loop is the standard solution.  However, the Roger System complies, and often exceeds, current accessibility standards by offering greater flexibility and audio clarity.

What is battery life?
Almost all Roger products have a battery life of 8 – 10 hours.  Charging time from 0 – 100% is approximately 2 hours.

Is the system confidential?
Yes, provided all Roger units are in the same room.  If a NeckLoop receiver is missing then confidentiality could be breached.  In this scenario, you can quickly create a new network on the Touchscreen Mic and re-pair all units within the room in just a couple minutes to regain confidentiality.

How secure is the Roger network?
The Roger network is in the 2.4GHz bandwidth and is designed to be secure and tap-proof.  The system runs on a 128-bit AES encryption which guarantees secure transmission. Only Roger receivers connected to Roger microphones can receive the signal.

Is Roger liable to interference?
No, due adaptive algorithms the system monitors channels and simply ‘hops’ all units in the network to a free channel if any interference is detected.

Can I return products?
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee, provided all items are placed back into its original packaging and are in a sellable condition.

How do I purchase the equipment?
It is possible to buy though our website directly, but we highly recommend getting in contact with us directly where we can discuss your exact needs and create a bespoke package that meets your criteria.

Is it easy to alter the volume?
Yes.  The NeckLoop Receiver features simple, side-mounted volume control for personal adjustment.
Roger technology constantly monitors speech and background noise, automatically adjusting volume to maintain speech intelligibility.

What size room is this suitable for?
The Roger network has a range of up to 25 metres in clear line of sight.
There are 10 NeckLoop receivers included in this system, each intended for individual use (one per person).  Users with compatible Sonova hearing instruments can connect directly, eliminating the need for a NeckLoop.
